Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with occasional evening and weekend work required.
Salary: Targeted Salary Range: $40,000-$42,200
Travel: No travel
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: Manage all aspects of gift and pledge processing for the NMU Foundation. Ensure all gifts are appropriately sourced, matched, and posted in accordance with donor intent and fund criteria. Manage the matching gift program and relevant fund-raising donations. Oversee the biographical updates related to Foundation operations to the donor and alumni database to ensure records are accurately updated and maintained.

Required Minimum Work Experience: Work experience in accounting, banking or finance or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties:
Ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Excel and Word.
Ability to work independently.
Skills in planning, organizing, and implementing procedures related to gift processing.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally and effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, including donors, faculty, administrators and auditors.
Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive tasks simultaneously, anticipate and manage frequent interruptions and redirect priorities quickly. Ability to anticipate and meet internal and external deadlines.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidential donor and investment information.
Possess creative problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, the ability to analyze and interpret data, and develop/implement solutions.
Willingness and demonstrated ability to learn new software and skills.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Experience working in a university setting or non-profit setting.
Experience working with Banner.
Knowledge of credit card terminal processes, online banking applications, ACH processes.
Supervisory experience.
