Brief Statement of Duties |
Brief Statement of Duties: |
Provide supervisory leadership for approximately 40 students to maintain the day-to-day operations of six computer/studio labs, a green screen lighting studio, and digital equipment for areas of digital cinema, photography, electronic art, and graphic design. Provide additional support for the 3D areas of woodworking, metalsmithing, ceramics, human-centered design and in 2D areas of illustration, painting, and printmaking |

Required Minimum Work Experience: |
Experience maintaining a computer facility including server and software upgrades. Previous supervisory work experience. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: |
Mac OS X fluency: software installation, system configuration, security, troubleshooting. Basic understanding of computer networking. Basic computer hardware maintenance: installation of RAM, PCI cards, hard drives, optical drives, and peripherals; cabling, cleaning, basic troubleshooting. Basic familiarity with or mechanical inclination to learn maintenance, perform cleaning, and basic trouble shooting for digital cameras, digital video cameras, lighting equipment, and printers. Fluency in Windows operating system. Excellent oral and written communications skills to communicate clearly and deal with a large and varied customer base. Ability to accurately and efficiently perform required computerized tasks to include any combination of word processing, spreadsheet, email, cloud or web-based applications. Detail oriented and highly self-motivated. Ability to work well under pressure. Knowledge of effective management and scheduling techniques. |

Additional Desirable Qualifications: |
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Express, and/or Premiere Pro. Knowledge in CNC equipment. Ability to create or modify basic web pages and other instructional material. Knowledge of databases and content management. Knowledge of personal protective equipment, budgeting, and estimating. |
