The Resident Director is expected to work independently. 12-month staff will have the opportunity to supervise other student staff and work with summer operations.

Assistant Professor/Three Year Term Marquette, MI 49855
This position consists of teaching three psychology courses per semester, advising students, and engaging in service. Courses to be taught will primarily consist of those in the area of social psychology and may be at the undergraduate or graduate level. In addition, courses to be taught will include those in the general psychology curriculum, such as Psychology of Personality, Research Methods in Psychology, and Introduction to Psychology. Further, the position will include teaching courses related to the development and completion of master's level student capstone projects. This is a campus-based position.
Program Coordinator-FROST/FARL Marquette, MI 49855
Responsible for coordinating workshops and other educational programs for professionals, students, and the community. Coordinate the day-to-day functions and serve as a point-of-contact for the NMU Donation Program. Assist the FROST/FARL Director with laboratory and office administration, possibly including grant management. Due to the nature of work at FROST and the Forensic Anthropology Research Laboratory (FARL), this position may involve exposure to human remains and/or other biohazardous material.

The Department of Earth, Environmental, and Geographical Sciences (EEGS) at Northern Michigan University (NMU) is inviting applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-earning Assistant Professor of Sustainable Food Systems to begin in August 2022. We seek a highly qualified scholar-practitioner with expertise in community food systems or sustainable agriculture focusing on food justice, security, or sovereignty. We are especially interested in candidates who examine these issues through an intersectional, anti-racist lens. The position will support existing departmental strengths in teaching and research related to Environmental Studies and Sustainability. Duties include teaching courses that complement the Department's curriculum, publishing scholarship focused on food systems, and completing departmental, university, and professional service. This is a tenure track, campus-based position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in August 2022. The English Department, with approximately 100 members, including full-time, contingent, adjunct, and graduate teaching assistants, is housed in the College of Arts and Sciences. The department offers a BA, BS, MA, MFA, and Graduate Certificate in TESOL. Duties and Responsibilities: Teach a 3/3 load comprised of primarily undergraduate English content and pedagogy courses (e.g., Secondary English Methods, Teaching of Writing, Teaching of the English Language, Teaching of Literature, Literature for Young Adults); participating in all matters related to accreditation and advising of the English Education program; and directly supervising student teachers in English Education in a two-state area. Northern Michigan University is seeking applications for the position of Professor and Head of the Biology Department. This is a full time, 12-month, tenured administrative position that requires a Ph.D. in a biological science. The successful candidate will have an established record of excellence in teaching and research, in mentoring students, and in administering programs.
