Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: The assignment will include teaching a range of undergraduate and graduate courses in human anatomy & physiology, animal physiology, introductory biology, and courses in their specialty. The successful applicants are expected to establish an active research program and supervise MS thesis research. This is a campus based position.

Required Education: Doctorate or equivalent terminal degree

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: - Ability to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: human anatomy and physiology, animal physiology, introductory biology, courses in specialty
- Ability to incorporate active learning strategies
- Ability to establish an active research program with undergraduate and graduate students
-Excellent oral and written communication skills and time management skills.
-Commitment to undergraduate and graduate education and demonstrated excellence in teaching
-Ability to develop and deliver curriculum
-Ability to meet the demands of the position in a timely manner
-Ability to assess student learning outcomes
-Ability to work well with an instructional team, including but not limited to fellow instructors and assistants
-Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills

Additional Desirable Qualifications: -Demonstrated teaching experience in anatomy and physiology
-Record of peer-reviewed publication appropriate to career stage
-Commitment to the mission of a public comprehensive university
-Willingness and ability to work interdepartmentally
