Brief Statement of Duties | |
Brief Statement of Duties: | Responsible for project administration on new construction, renovation and maintenance projects. Duties shall include providing all phases of project management including design (schematic to final), estimates, bidding, construction administration/coordination and post construction warranty issues. |
Minimum Qualifications | |
Required Education: | Bachelor's Degree |
Discipline / Degree Area: | Architectural Design/Technology, Construction Management or related fields |
Required Specialized Training/Certifications: | |
Required Minimum Work Experience: | Three years' experience in preparing, reviewing and critiquing construction design documents. Three years' experience in construction methods, coordination and/or construction inspection. Three years of BIM/CAD experience. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: | Broad knowledge of all phases of commercial building design and construction with a strong background in architectural systems and components including system interfaces with security and safety. Ability to deliver construction projects on time and within budget and implement creative solutions to construction problems or design errors. Knowledge of building codes. Computer application skills (word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet, web-based programs, project management software ie. Procore and Blue Beam). Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively deal with a broad variety of people and prepare quality correspondence, reports and other written materials. Excellent critical thinking skills; ability to effectively analyze situations and solve problems. Effective interpersonal skills - able to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Strong organizational skills - able to plan and coordinate projects and handle multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to coordinate the work of others. Conscientious and self-motivated.
