| The Department of Music at Northern Michigan University seeks a one-year term faculty full time, 9-month, specializing in vocal instruction. Opportunity to collaborate with other faculty on curriculum development and creative projects. This position will start August, 2024. This is a campus based position.
Duties each semester include a 12-credit hour teaching load per semester, baseline scholarship and service. The ideal candidate will teach applied voice and voice-related courses, which may include diction and class voice. Candidates will work to recruit, develop, and retain high-quality students and engage in meaningful creative and professional activity. The teaching assignment will be dependent upon the successful candidate's qualifications and interests and the needs of the Music Department. |
