As a part of NMU’s CARE and Case Management Services team, provide strengths-based assessments and develop service plans with students seeking to address a wide range of their wellbeing concerns including, but not limited to, basic needs insecurity (i.e., housing, food, etc.), physical and mental health, student safety, academic, personal/family crisis, and integration into campus life. Responsible for the development and maintenance of a comprehensive resources database including referral agencies, offices, departments, individuals, and other relevant resources for students. The position reports to the Case Management Services Director and works collaboratively with on- and off-campus colleagues and partners. Serve as back up to the Case Management Services Director, and chair CARE Team meetings, when needed, and work closely with the Director to support department and pillar-wide wellbeing initiatives.

Responsible for providing leadership to Plant Operations to include: directing the Technical Trades staff responsible for preventive, routine and emergency maintenance; management of the facilities management systems and computerized maintenance management system; projecting, planning, securing and managing long-term maintenance projects associated with all building and utility systems to ensure reliable and efficient system operation; and management of contractors to complete maintenance repairs.

Provide skills and perform duties necessary to lead and engage the staff in the preparation and resale of various beverages, food and retail items, ensuring operational success through excellent customer service and maintaining store standards. Perform a variety of similar retail and catering service duties in the summer as determined by operational needs of the Dining Services Department.
