|Teach a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in multiple delivery formts in Business Communications, Management, and Public Relations. Other responsibilities include student mentoring, program development, outcomes assessment, recruitment, and service activities. The College of Business is AACSB accredited and engagement activities are expected. The is a one-year campus based term position.

|Required Minimum Work Experience:
|The successful candidate will be an effective and innovative teacher responsible for instructing primarily undergraduate business communications and public relations courses, with an emphasis on writing skills for business contexts and audiences. Two to four years of successful teaching in higher education. Demonstrated success in multiple delivery formats (face-to-face, asynchronous, and synchronous).
Experience teaching at undergraduate and graduate level.
Minimum degree requirement for Instructor level is a Master's degree.
Minimum degree requirement for Assistant Professor level is a Ph.D.

|Demonstrated evidence of a commitment to teaching excellence.
Previous preparation and teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
Contribute to the assimilation of assessment information and data as needed.
Mentor and/or advise undergraduate and/or graduate students.
Engage in service with the College of Business, the University, and the profession as appropriate.

|Additional Desirable Qualifications:
|Appointment at the Assistant Professor level requires a Ph.D. in Business Communications, English Rhetoric, Communications Studies, Public Relations or a related field from an accredited university.
Evidence of proficiency with various social media platforms used in business for advertising, public service announcements, public relations campaigns, and recruiting.
Knowledge and teaching effectiveness in crafting effective communication within multiple contexts, genres, platforms and audiences, while attending to ethics in communication design and delivery.
Membership in the Public Relations Society of America.
Ability to teach organizational communication and/or rhetorical theory.
Experience, willingness or aptitude to develop competencies related to entertainment and sports promotion education.
Ability or interest in teaching concepts related to enterprise and corporate sustainability.
