Position Title: Operations Spclst/Event Coord

FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt = overtime eligible
Work Schedule: Schedule to be arranged with supervisor; .50 FTE (part-time); one-year term position.
Salary: Targeted prorated salary range: $20,400-$21,500
Travel: Less than 10%
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: Collaborate directly with the Construction Management faculty to target high priority program initiatives, especially those that focus on increasing engagement and enrollment among underrepresented populations in Construction Management (e.g., women and service veterans).

Plan, coordinate, direct and implement events that further the strategic engagement and enrollment initiatives of the Construction Management programs, which will require travel to targeted geographical areas.

Provide student guidance throughout the process for the online applicants to the Construction Management program within the Global Campus, as well as control the management and engagement of the Construction programs’ social media platforms.

Required Minimum Work Experience: Evidence of directing at least two successful events in the previous four years
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: Exceptional interpersonal skills.
High level knowledge of event logistics.
Strong ability to multi-task.
Strong ability to work within an assigned budget.
Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Highly organized.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
Additional Desirable Qualifications: Master’s Degree.
Demonstrated knowledge of the construction management discipline.
Civic leadership and engagement.
Experience with non-profit organizations, as well as coordinating public private partnerships.
Software experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
