Position Title: Global Campus Operations Coordinator

FLSA Status:  Exempt = not eligible for overtime
Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm with occasional evening and weekend work required.
Salary: Targeted salary range: $46,621-$50,200
Travel: Less than 10%
Brief Statement of Duties
Brief Statement of Duties: Provide student and faculty support related to online learning. Focus on new student recruitment by engaging with students throughout the entire admission funnel from lead to admission. Guide prospective students through the application process and orient them to the Global Campus and their chosen academic program to ensure a smooth start to distance learning at NMU.

Serve and assist the ELCE Scholar by engaging in the online course design review process (e.g., collect data and artifacts related to online course review, communicate course review results, evaluate courses for adherence to target design standards, generate reports) and other Global Campus initiatives (e.g., faculty professional development, prior learning assessment).
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Master's Degree
Discipline / Degree Area:  
Required Specialized Training/Certifications: Valid motor vehicle driver's license.
Required Minimum Work Experience: Three years' experience in higher education administration and/or teaching in the college setting.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent critical thinking skills, good judgment - ability to effectively analyze situations, documents, and communications in order to make decisions.
Strong communication skills - must be able to communicate both written and verbally with diverse populations.
Effective interpersonal skills - able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
Computer applications (database, spreadsheets, word processing, web technologies, conferencing systems like Skype).
Ability to maintain confidentiality, especially when handling academic records/information.
Additional Desirable Qualifications
Additional Desirable Qualifications: Adult/non-traditional education experience.
Understanding of admissions policies, procedures, and accepted admissions practices.
Understanding of academic course quality assurance and teaching methods.
