LTE Support Supervisor Marquette, MI 49855
Provide support for the university's LTE Services. Investigate, diagnose and guide LTE users through resolution of LTE communications issues. Maintain communication and provide feedback to internal staff regarding NMU LTE issues, equipment, processes, and support. Assist with development and implementation of technical support processes and procedures, evaluation, recommendation, and creation and publication of LTE materials and documentation. Handle and resolve LTE inquiries, issues and complaints. Train, manage and oversee NMU LTE student support staff. Create, implement and manage new technologies that support the LTE system.

The person filling this position will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering Technology including but not limited to Fluid Mechanics, Material Science, Mechanical Design, Senior Projects, and Thermodynamics. These courses may be offered on campus or off campus by teaching off site or via the web. Additional duties would include but not limited to ABET accreditation support, committee assignments, and applied research or other scholarly activities.

Under direction of supervisor, assess and execute client requests for a variety of multimedia services and audio visual equipment. Work includes coordinating, setup, operation, and maintenance of sound reinforcement, sound mixing, digital video, and projection services for a variety of clients from NMU, regional, and national communities. The focus will be on day-to-day operation of the audio visual requests and events. Assist in hiring, training, and supervising student employees.
